The Ajo App

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Ajo App, operated by Gidi Financial Technologies Limited (“Gidi Financial”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By creating an account or using The Ajo App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
To use The Ajo App, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Successfully complete required identity verification (KYC)

2. Description of Service
The Ajo App is a digital platform that enables users to:

• Create and join group savings (Ajo/Esusu)
• Contribute and receive funds through a wallet account
• Perform related financial transactions

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.
3. Account Registration & Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details
• You agree not to share your account with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. KYC, Compliance & Verification
To comply with regulatory requirements, we may require:

• BVN verification
• NIN verification
• Additional documentation where necessary

Failure to complete verification may result in limited access or account suspension.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:

• Use the app for lawful purposes only
• Not engage in fraud, money laundering, or abuse of the platform
• Ensure funds contributed are lawfully obtained

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspicious activity.
6. Transactions & Liability

• All transactions are processed electronically
• Once completed, transactions may not be reversible
• Gidi Financial is not responsible for losses resulting from user error, group disputes, or incorrect details provided by users

7. Fees
Applicable fees (if any) will be clearly disclosed within the app before transactions are completed.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You breach these Terms
• Required by law or regulation
• Fraud or suspicious activity is detected

9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Gidi Financial shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Service interruptions beyond our control
• Losses caused by third-party service providers

10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and technology used in The Ajo App belong to Gidi Financial Technologies Limited and may not be used without permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
